I worked with a Graphic designer in house to create a series of 5 new idents for the rebrand of the History Channel in Europe. I came up with the themes for each of the idents below and also had the chance to commission original music from SATV music.
The brief for the music was to create something that was fresh modern and epic and not too classic ‘History’, not too stuck in one time period. We needed a generic track that could be easily adapted to fit the other themes. Inspiration came from variety of sources, from modern Electronic music artists, to Video game Soundtracks and Film scores.
Won Silver at GEMA Europe Awards 2024 for Best In-house Idents.
