I was asked to create the titles and end of part bumpers for Sky History’s new commission ‘The Chop: Britain's Top Woodworker’. I had to pitch my ideas and then work with the production company to get the shoot ready a week before Christmas, ready to shoot in the new year. The production company chose this route because it showed the journey of wood from felling a tree to a finished sign to go over the credits. I then directed the shoot crew and art direction on the day. Featuring the Final Titles, EOP’s and plates we shot for the tasks. Also my original storyboard, and some shots from the shoot day.

Storyboard for the EOPs we used these on the day to get everything looking how I had envisioned.

Title shoot: Getting the log to drop in the right spot.

Talking through my Storyboards with the DOP.
